As part of the Canal Communities Drug & Alcohol Awareness Week 2019 the Community Representatives of the Canal Communities Local Drug & Alcohol Task Force are hosting a event to look at problem drug use in our communities.
Much has happened in the past forty years.
Heroin arrived at the end of the 1970’s early 1980’s and things changed in working class communities.
What exactly did happen?
What did it all mean?
What does it mean today?
We will be using a mixture of relevant film and spoken voices to bring some light to the conversation.
